Fire resistant plastic
A new resin-based plastic which can withstand exposure to fire in the oxygen
medium, some thing that no metal can do, has been developed by scientists of
Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of Byelorussian Academy of Sciences
in co-operation with their Agricultural Institute in Dnepropetrovsk. This
can be used in machine building and aircraft engineering.
