was designed by French architect Le Corbusier. It is a
capital of Haryana as well as Punjab. The major
attractions in and around chandigarh are Rock garden,
Museum & Art Gallery, Sukhna Lake and a Rose Garden
housing 1000 varities of Rose.

Mela
The Surajkund crafts mela is organised every year in the
first two weeks of February. You can buy extraordinary
pieces of art directly from the artisans. Quality is very
high and prices are damm cheaper than showrooms. Surajkund
is 10 km from Delhi. The fair is worth visiting.
